A good few years ago, I put on a fairly
last minute cosmic blowout at the Camden Unicorn. Something happened that night,
I got more drunk than usual and I got thrown out of my own gig. Luckily enough,
it wasn't before We Wild Blood took the stage who were sensational.
This North London based 4 piece are a tricky band to describe. It's not quite psych or noise rock but all I know is that they make an incredible racket and have braced the Cosmic Carnage stage since in both London and Cardiff. Front man, Andy always has a trouble-making glint in his eye and you never quite know what will happen next.
It's been wonderful to see things
take off for them a bit a lately, playing with Oneida, Deafkids, John and
Rainbow Grave. They were meant to be playing Raw Power and Cardiff Psych and
Noise fest but as we all know, 2020 has been an absolute twat.
I'm delighted to be streaming their
brand new album, VICIOUS VIRTUES in its entirety right here. What a deranged monster of a record, they are sounding like true world beaters. An epic vibe which
constantly morphs an swirls into some other brain frying noise.
